James R. "Jim" French is an American radio personality and producer who has written and produced, as of 2011, over 803 radio shows, including The Adventures of Harry Nile and The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes series.[1]
French became morning DJ on KIRO in Seattle in 1959.[2] He later began production of Imagination Theatre, which in 2003 moved to KIXI-AM[3] French's syndicated programs are now broadcast on over 120 stations in the U.S. and Canada, and are also heard on the XM Satellite Radio system all over North America. Actors in French's dramas have included Patty Duke, Tom Smothers, Keenan Wynn, Roddy MacDowall, Ruta Lee, John Astin, and Richard Sanders. He provided the voice for Father Grigori in the game Half-Life 2, the Fisherman in the Half-Life 2 tech demo Lost Coast, and Bill in the game Left 4 Dead.
